So Much More than a Clinic

While Medical and Dental services is a focus of the clinic, we are excited to include so much more once the infrastructure is in place.  

 We will be able to host construction missions, water improvement, proselytizing, educators, sports, medical internships, and so forth. We see every day there is so much that can be done, and our goal is to include everyone that has a skill or resource to share will be welcome here. Living old panama is a sight to see. Experiencing it will change you for a lifetime. Artisan quality, hand made everything, and a genuine kindness and love for people the way it was meant to be. We hope you will all see for yourself. We love visitors!!

This is all of the resource material at the local school. After 65 years the school just got electricity. They need wifi and computers! We need volunteers! 

Back to Panama

Thanks to everyone that has made this journey the past month a  

 pleasure. On errand for the people of rural Panama, doors have been opened and you have all been so gracious. Thanks for all your contributions and shares. We are getting it done together. That is the only way we can change this corner of the world. Tomorrow is a big day for the project. We need everyone to donate, no matter how much. The Junta

Traditional Panamanian living is a sight to see. Living it for a while has changed the way I look at life.  

 While cutting rice by hand or building a house with mud, and growing your own food is a great experience, the way that it is done is what makes it so special. The host will walk around community and invite people to help out. A call to action so to speak. The next day everybody shows up and does their work and the entire event is full of comradery and music and fun. They are happy. And at the end of the day the job is done.  

 It is a lot like building Clinica Campesina. Theclinicfund has called to action. When everyone shows up the project goes together to make something special. The Last Best Place

After two years in Agua Buena I still look around me each day and smile. So grateful to experience something a little different, and traditional Panama is so full of  surprises. While there is nothing ever planned, there is always something to do, and something fun to see and experience.  

 
Simple things like looking up into this rancho roof. It took 12 of us one day to build this. Every stick and every connection is tied one by one. Every pole and penca cut with a machete. The people here work together and make cool things for each other all the time. The clinic will be the same way. It’s going to take all of us working together, everyone donating just a little, and if we share, and stay the day through, we can build something very cool for those that don’t have the resources.
